All-Star qualifying rained out, Kurt Busch on pole

NASCAR hopes to complete the session later in the evening, with 25 of 29 cars already qualified. Carl Edwards, Tony Raines, Derrike Cope and David Gilliland had yet to make their qualifying attempts. Juan Pablo Montoya currently holds the top spot with a lap of 188.055 m.p.h.

The 200-mile Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte also is scheduled for this evening.
