Toronto's Dichio is 50-50 for this week's game

06/19/2007 - Toronto, Ontario (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Toronto FC forward Danny Dichio sprained his ankle Sunday and is 50-50 for Saturday's game at New England.

He suffered the injury in the 33rd minute of Sunday's 4-0 win over FC Dallas and remained in the game until halftime but didn't play in the second half.

"Obviously we're very happy that the x-rays were negative and nothing was broken," Toronto coach Mo Johnston said. "Dannys a very big part of this team, and we'll be doing everything to make sure hes taking care and getting the right treatment and hopefully he'll be ready to play on Saturday."

Dichio, a former English Premier and Italian Serie A striker, scored his team- high fourth goal of the season in the 25th minute of the victory over Dallas. Since being signed, he has started seven straight games for Toronto.

Toronto (4-6-1), which has won two of its last three games, is sixth in the Eastern Conference.
